First aid training courses

At Central Medical Services, we deliver first aid training that goes beyond the basics. Our courses are designed to meet HSE requirements while preparing learners for the real-world situations they might actually face.

We have worked with

First aid training delivered by frontline medical teams

We offer several core First aid courses, including Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and Paediatric First Aid courses tailored specifically for those working with children, such as in schools, nurseries or clubs.

What sets our training apart is who delivers it. All sessions are led by active professionals – paramedics, technicians and nurses – who bring real frontline experience into the classroom. That means less theory for theory’s sake, and more insight into what actually works in high-pressure situations. Training is hands-on and scenario-based, using real equipment, mannequins and staged emergencies to simulate the kind of incidents first-aiders are most likely to encounter.

Designed to meet HSE workplace standards & industry best practice

We deliver content in line with nationally approved frameworks, giving you confidence that your staff are trained to the same standard expected across professional sectors. All of our courses lead to regulated, nationally recognised qualifications that meet the latest workplace standards and reflect current industry best practices.

Training takes place at our dedicated CMS Training Academy or can be delivered on-site at your venue, depending on what works best for your team. Our First Aid training courses are ideal for equipping new staff, team leaders and designated workplace responders with the skills and confidence they need to handle emergencies.
