The ICQ Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals who want to become qualified internal quality assurers. It provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to monitor the quality of assessment practices, support assessors, and ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance within workplace and learning environments.
There are 2 units to complete and 1 workbook, evidence of IQA activities are provided on the course. A laptop is recommended for this course. You will be given some time to complete the workbook during the classroom, anything remaining will need to be completed at home within a set time scale.

- Be aged 19+
- Hold a valid assessing qualification (e.g CAVA)Â
- Possess subject knowledge in the area you wish to assess
- Be actively working as an assessor or have access to assessors and assessment processes to quality assure
